Body of RAB Officer Palash Saha Found with Gunshot Wounds in Chattogram Office

The bullet-riddled body of an officer named Palash Saha was recovered from the office of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) Chandgaon Camp in Chattogram.

The body was discovered around 12:30 PM on Wednesday (May 7) in a room on the third floor of the RAB-7 Chandgaon Camp, located in the Bahaddarhat area of the city.

Palash Saha, aged 37, was serving as a Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) under RAB-7. He was a member of the 37th BCS police cadre.

Assistant Commissioner (AC) Arif Hossain of the Panchlaish Zone stated that Palash Saha was found dead in his office with gunshot wounds. A note addressed to his family was recovered from the scene. Police are currently investigating the matter.

According to the police outpost at Chattogram Medical College Hospital, the body has been kept in the hospital morgue. Upon receiving the news, Palash Saha’s wife arrived at the hospital.
